KnowHowHP
Upskilling for boosting heat pump installation in refurbishments
In the three-year KnowHowHP (heat pump know-how) project, energy consultants, planners and installers are taught an integral planning and implementation process that considers optimised renovation concepts with the use of heat pumps.
The aim of the training and further education programme is to make it easier to switch to heat pumps in existing multifamily houses and to increase the number of energy-efficient refurbishments. The project is not to be seen as a measure against the shortage of skilled labour in the sector but rather aims to qualify existing skilled workers.
